Weeding

Well, the mild winter has yielded lots of clumps of grass, dandelions, and other misc. weeds. While it is a lot of work to weed, the rain helps making the ground soft, and I have this little digger to help get the weeds up. Even though there are a lot of weeds/grasses, if there wasn't the gravel down, the lavender plants would be surrounding by moisture retaining grass, encouraging fungi/mold growth.

I've trimmed the Croxton's Wild stems that were cracked from the base and will take pictures of them as they recover, if they recover.
